Re: [HTCondor-users] subject: install HTCondor 8.4.0-1 on RHEL 6.2 libcrypto.so.10 error



Not sure if the order of how I did this matters but here is what I did.

Removed perl from system
looked for repo to reinstall perl
Found a command to disable all reops
changed disable to enable
reinstalled perl (installed fine)
yum installed HTCondor 64bit (installed condor fine with dependencies)

I now have our first HTCondor install working on RHEL 7.1Â
And a deeper understanding of how much I dislike Linux. :)

So Michael, do you think that repo would have been the only one needed to enable?

You're missing the rhel-7-server-rpms repo, which contains the base OS distribution and the perl-Date-Manip package. What's showing in your list is just the optional packages repo. Are your certificates and subscriptions all in order to allow Red Hat to grant your system access?
