[Condor-users] DAG/Condor software e-mailling user

Dear All,

We are running Condor 6.6.7 on a Sun Solaris platform as master/submitter with windows XP nodes. The jobs I run are recursively submitted via DAG. Whenever DAG ends a job I get an e-mail telling the status ie 1-fail or 0-success, despite the fact it has been told not to notify!

What am I doing wrong here?

My scripts are :

1. the .sub

universe = vanilla

Requirements = ( Arch=="Intel") && (CSD_CONDOR_POOL == "CDTC") && (OpSys == "WINNT51")

Whilst this doesn’t affect the functioning of the system I am getting about 20 to 30 e-mails an hour!!

A sample e-mail content is

This is an automated email from the Condor system on machine "ulgp2.liv.ac.uk".  Do not reply.

Your condor job exited with status 0.

Job: /opt1/condor/bin/condor_dagman -f -l . -Debug 3 -Lockfile /ffs/mat_alanca/condor/jobs/cl1/cm2fp600/md.dag.lock -Dag /ffs/mat_alanca/condor/jobs/cl1/cm2fp600/md.dag -Rescue /ffs/mat_alanca/condor/jobs/cl1/cm2fp600/md.dag.rescue -Condorlog /ffs/mat_alanca/condor/jobs/cl1/cm2fp600/md.dag.dummy_log

This problem does not occur for normal submissions (if I remember correctly)

Any help or workarounds will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Alan
