Hy. Sorry if I use the same topic, for asking another question about
Condor and Globus.

I'm actually using only a condor pool but I want to build up another
pool, far away from the first. I want to use Globus in order to study it and mainly to use its own grid security infrastructure, but, before to start to try to devlope such structure ,I need some explanations. Sorry
if I bother you.
The first question is: in order to use Condor and Globus togheter, have
I to install Globus over every machine in both pool, or can I install
Globus only over the two central managers?

It depends on what you are going to do with Globus. In the Open
Science Grid the globus services run only on the manager nodes and
the client machines only have client software so they can access
globus-url-copy and such. In some other installations, where
the workers can't access the grid, there are no globus installation
necessary at all.

I believe that Condor comes with enough internal GSI stuff to
do its own GSI functions and is not dependent on the globus
toolkit for that but I could be wrong.

Correct. If all you want from Globus is GSI's strong authentication, then Condor has what you need already built-in. You can also use Flocking or Condor-C to move jobs between the two pools.
