You can run the daemon as a domain account but it will have insufficient permissions to spawn jobs on the machine. Even if it's a member of the local Administrator's account on that box it won't be able to start sub-processes in their own virtual desktop spaces as any user other than itself. Only the SYSTEM account has those kinds of permissions.
