I just quickly tested with own desktop, which condor_version describes as:

$CondorVersion: 7.0.2 Apr 26 2008 BuildID: none PRE-RELEASE-UWCS $
$CondorPlatform: INTEL-WINNT50 $


and getenv=true setup the path on the execute machine as expected.

Based on the pathnames Ian was talking about, it looks like he is on 
Linux, so I'll try that next.  I just tried Win32 first since that was 
handy...

Linux results in a moment....
