This is exactly what is missing in the current documentation.

If you want to give VM newbies a smooth start, then please add
this in one or another way to the manual and/or add to Condor's
main help webpages....

This site you gave me plus the Condor 2008 siminar video on VM
made me succeed to do my first VM universe job!
