Re: [Condor-users] Daemons needed

OK, is there any harm in non-central-managers starting more daemons than
needed? And would the unneeded daemons then cause messages like this
(CollectorLog):

10/2 16:36:04 PERMISSION DENIED to unauthenticated user from host
136.200.32.236 for command 10 (QUERY_STARTD_PVT_ADS), access level
NEGOTIATOR: reason: NEGOTIATOR authorization policy contains no matching
ALLOW entry for this request; identifiers used for this host:
136.200.32.236,locke.ad.water.ca.gov

Master and Schedd = submit only node
Master and Startd = execute only node(runs jobs)
Master and Startd and Schedd = submit node which can also run jobs
Master and Collector and Negotiator = Collector which neither runs jobs
nor can be used to submit.
