Thank you for your response. The issue I'm having is, I'm trying to set the priority factor for the group. Not a user. I am able to set the priority factor for users with no problems. However this is the error I'm getting when I try to set the priority factor for groups:

]# condor_userprio -setfactor group_pseudo_operational_processing 10
condor_userprio: You must specify the full name of the submittor you wish
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ to update the priority of (user@xxxxxxxxxx or user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx)

Also when I add the full domain for the group, the groups priority stays the same. I guess my question is:

Is it possible to change the priority factor for condor groups, and if so how?

Marc,

The accountant log only gets the user's priority factor when he or
she first appears, and keeps the original factor, and other elements,
until they drain back to the default RUP and are dropped from
the log.

What I usually do is just manually reset the factor for such users
to match the new policy with condor_userprior -setfactor, but you
can also discard the log and put everyone back to square one, or
temporarily reduce the priority halflife to 60 seconds.

See page 635 of the 8.2.9 manual - this came into play when the
default factor was changed from 1 to 1000.
